After Christmas, we made our annual trek to Rocky Point. Who wouldn’t want to enjoy this view every Christmas?

The sunsets aren’t the only thing that’s great about Casa Fiesta.

I also enjoyed being the only one there able to check my e-mail—much to Paul’s frustration.

Some of us also enjoyed soaking up the sun.

Or hiding from it, as the case may be.

Still, sitting with the sand between your toes is always great.

Reading a book with sand between your toes is even better.

You can always take a break from reading, though, to tour the local airport—where everyone knows Paul’s name.

And there is always the memorable first swim of every young girl’s life.

Such a memorable event, in fact, that the whole family had to show up to participate.

There is always a good game of Peek-A-Boo to be had with Grandma Rowley in Rocky Point.

And it’s a great location for taking billions of pictures of The Peanut.

Of course, what location isn’t great for taking pictures of this little cutie?

It’s also a great place to learn to lock your legs and stand with support.

You can also make friends with monkeys,

slurp some oysters, knit scarves,

and find some good food.
Most of all, you can enjoy good company, ring in the New Year, and make memories at Casa Fiesta. We had a great time in Mexico with the Rowleys!
