It’s more difficult than you think to be three months old…
…when all you want to do is talk and smile while you should be eating, and your mom keeps trying to force more food into your belly.
…when your mom gives up trying to feed you and attempts to catch your cuteness on camera, only you want to keep your cute smiles to yourself and mom doesn’t seem to understand why.
…when your mom tries to keep in you asleep in bed, but you wake up with a hungry tummy only an hour later because you were too busy playing when you should have been eating.
…when you mom decides that it would be fun to dress you up for the ward Christmas party and not only are you forced to wear a headband, bow, bracelet, tights, and red shoes but then you have to take even more pictures!

…when your parents insist on refering to you as “The Peanut” or “Pumpkin Pie” instead of by your real name.
That’s alright, though. I’ll retaliate by pooping for the first time in three days and messing all over mom and myself. Then, while mom is trying to change me, I’ll redocorate my shirt with my afternoon snack and kick my sock-encased feet into my dirty diaper. That will teach her to call me peanut!
Love,
Miss Amelia
